6 3/4" Tricone Bits is a regular diameter for HDD pilot hole, this model has 3 lateral jet nozzles, the hydraulic performance is better than central jet hole in clearing rock chips especially in drilling sticky rocks.
The steel teeth tricone bit has a central hole which is suitable for RC drilling( Reverse Circulation drilling).
IADC216 tricone bit could drill harder formations than IADC126, choosing the proper IADC according to hardness of rocks is the first step of high efficiency drilling.
