IADC: 637 – TCI journal sealed bearing bit with gauge protection for medium hard formations with high compressive strength.

Hard,well-compacted rocks such as:hard silica limestones,quarzite streaks,pyrite ores,hematite ores,magnetite ores,chromium ores,phosphorite ores and granites.

8 1/2inches (215.9mm) tricone bit is a very regular size. Applications covers vertical well drilling like water well drilling, oil/gas well, and horizontal drilling like trenchless/No-Dig/HDD application. Besides that, (roller cones1/3, thirds) of 8 1/2″ tricone bits which cone-diameter is 133 mm are widely used in foundation rock piling field.
