IADC627 is TCI journal sealed bearing bit .The drill bit has gauge protection based on medium hard formations with high compressive strength .
Gauge Protection:
Special inserts are strategically arranged on head to effectively reduce head wear in abrasive formation and directional and horizontal wells and exrend bit life.

3 7/8 inches (98mm) is small size API TCI Tricone Bits.The thread conneciton is 2 3/8 reg pin.
Regarding the materials of tricone bit, we have TCI bit and Steel tooth bit.TCI bit will be used in water well / geothermal well and grouting hole drilling.The bearing is sealed which it can extend the drill bit life.TCI gauge protection on heel of cones protects cone body from being wore.
