IADC: 637 – TCI journal sealed bearing bit with gauge protection for medium hard formations with high compressive strength.
Working Compressive Strength:
100 – 150 MPA

Formation Description:
Hard,well-compacted rocks such as:hard silica limestones,quarzite streaks,pyrite ores,hematite ores,magnetite ores,chromium ores,phosphorite ores and granites.
We can offer TCI bits in avariety of sizes (from 3 3/8″ to 26″) and all most of IADC codes.
1>9 5/8″(244.5mm) is a special size in well drilling, as 9 1/2″(241.3mm) and 9 7/8″(250.8mm) are regular and similar sizes. Drillers always use 9 5/8″ diameter tricone drill bits to get a special diameter to install casing.
2>IADC637G tricone drill bit is suitable for drilling very hard rocks like dolomite, granite, chert, etc. The bearing is journal sealed with gauge protection at heel of cones. The feature code “G” means Enhanced TCI protection on shirttail of arms.
