Step 1: Drill a pilot hole

Step 2: Enlarge the pilot hole, step by step, with different hole openers from small to big.
You can expand the pilot hole by 4″ one stage(for example, from 12″ to 16″ to 20″,etc) or 6″ one stage(for example, from 12″ to 18″ to 24″,etc).
