Steel tooth HDD rock reamer is produced with steel tooth roller cone bit, it is of higher penetration rate than tungsten carbide insert rock reamer in drilling soft rocks.
The disadvantage is that the steel tooth rock reamer is not suitable for drillling hard rocks.
The body is enhanced by tungsten carbide hard alloy, the arm-back of roller cone is armoured by tungsten carbide to sustain heavy load in crossing.
